Too often, at home and at church, and historically at least, at work, I stand opposed and suspicious of what’s being brought by others.

Blame 16 years, what is it, 12, 14, 16, 18 years as an academic, I mean, I’m using that term very loosely, blame a natural bent of my mind, I don’t know, but it’s not, it’s not what’s going to get it done, and when I say it, I mean, I mean togetherness, I mean unity of vision and will, I mean a sense of belonging and cherishing, no, what I need to bring to my kitchen table, what I need to bring to church sermon talkbacks and youth group gatherings, and what I need to bring to work is the yes and spirit of improv, bring, bring myself and what I have to offer in a positive sense, and honor that which others bring of themselves, yes, that’s right, and we can do this, that’s so good, oh, ha ha ha ha, laughter, laughter, laughter, that’s the way.
